We’re tired of running spring camps in the rain and snow. So this spring we will be at the nicest indoor venue in this region, The Academy of Sports Performance. During this camp, time will be split between infield AND hitting! For the infield portion, we will continue developing the BEST INFIELDERS in this region. We will be covering all aspects of infield play. Skills that will be taught/covered are, but not limited to, preparatory pre-pitch readiness, fielding position, deflecting, reading hops, backhands, double play feeds and pivots, developing infielder hands and feet, glove positioning, and physical conditioning.
For the hitting portion, we will spend time on the mechanics of the swing. We will break down the components and drill like crazy. There will be T work, soft toss and live BP. Everything you learn, you will be able to take with you after camp and practice on your own! This is a great chance to get some work in, allowing players to put the skills learned to use during the spring season! Like mentioned, there will be much more covered. Once we get the roster of players we will modify/adapt accordingly.
Don’t miss out on training with Coach Kenny Eilmes. He has developed star infielders such as University of Portland’s Cal Webb, Washington State University Kodie Kolden, Expos stars Elijah Hainline, Ricco Longo and Sterling Lipscomb. There are many more up-and-coming infielders that will no doubt be playing beyond HS. Our camps are fast paced, high energy, competitive and fun. We put an emphasis on player improvement and our strategies and methods produce results. If you plan to attend, don’t wait to sign up. Kenny’s camps have been known to fill up months in advance.
