Fielding a ground ball is ½ the play an infielder has to make. Throwing the runner out is the other ½. This camp is all about the throws that an infielder must master, to play at a high level. Most errors that infielders make are throwing errors. This camp will break down the proper mechanics. Being able to repeat your arm stroke is what infielders need to do in order to become ELITE! We teach players what power position, or V-slot, looks like and how to get in this position. This is the first time we are devoting an entire camp to throwing, it’s that important! We have 20+ throwing drills that players will learn so they are able to practice on their own. It will be catch-play with a partner about 50 feet away from each other. A lot of throws but not a great distance so there should be minimal stress on the arm. Most players get “sore” arms because they cannot repeat their arm stroke. This camp will help players be able to do so. If there is only one camp you can attend this summer, make this the one! Ages 7-18. Mt. Spokane High School varsity baseball field, 9:00-11:00 AM; July 12-15. $229.99 Sign up for all 5 summer infield camps and receive a 15% discount.
